Sebastian Krause
Vice President, Software Group Nordost-Europa, IBM Corporation, Zürich
Sebastian Krause is Vice President, Software Group in region Northeast Europe. In this role he is responsible for marketing, sales and the support of the IBM software portfolio in the United Kingdom, Ireland, Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He came to this office in April 2008 from the position of Vice President, Software Group in Germany.
From 2003 until 2005 Sebastian Krause worked in the IBM headquarters in Paris as Director of Sales Operations, Software Group, EMEA. In this role he was also a member of the IBM Software Group EMEA Executive Board.
From 2000 until 2003 he was Business Unit Executive for Information Management in IBM Software Group, EMEA Central Region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland) and a member of the Software Group, EMEA Central Region management team.
Sebastian Krause started his career with IBM Software Group in 1995 as European Key Account Manager and in charge of major OEM and retail clients. Since that he has held numerous sales and development positions with industry and territory focus across European countries.
Sebastian Krause has a degree in Business Economics and Information Technology from the Technische Fachhochschule, Berlin and an MBA from the Henley Management College, London.
