Dr. René Deist

Dr. René Deist studied Mathematics and Economics and in addition Computer Science at the Ruhr University of Bochum. He did his diploma in Mathematics and the research with doctorate in Computer Science. 

From 2001 to 2020, he held various positions as CIO and CDO in different global enterprises. 

Since 2021, he holds the position of CDO, Senior Vice President at ZF Friedrichshafen AG. 

With more than 20 years experience, Dr. Deist acts competent in all business IT aspects. With his global footprint he manages world wide organizations. He focuses on strategy and business value of IT, and drives digital transformation previously at Bosch and Faurecia and now with ZF.
